18 years old propsed to her 60 years old former teacher in front of thousands of people (Photos)

A teenage girl has caused outrage by getting engaged to the 60-year-old former janitor of her old school.

Lisa Miller, 18, proposed to Jim Kerr while visiting the Scottish International Airshow in Ayr last Friday.

The couple's union has sparked a backlash among social media users, including Mr Kerr's daughter Allison Kerr who wrote: 'It's my dad and I'm 32 so imagine how me and my family feel seeing that.

She added: 'We have nothing to do with him anymore.' More below.
