This African scops owl flaunted its camouflage skills at And Beyond's Ngala Safari Lodge in northeastern South Africa where it was said to be sitting as still as a statue blending in to its habitat. The images were captured by safari guide Roan du Plessis at Beyond's Ngala Safari Lodge, a private game reserve in South Africa where he lives and works. Roan, 26, took the photos earlier this month in a bid to show visitors how skilled the reserve's trackers were when it came to spotting animals.
