A father is threatening to pursue a 'common assault' charge against his daughter's headteacher over claims she removed his six-year-old's earrings without permission.
John Deeney claims his six-year-old daughter Alyssa was 'made to feel like a criminal' and told she would be put in isolation after turning up to class wearing tiny studs in both ears.
He has now pulled both Alyssa and her five-year-old sister Darci from Partington Central Academy in Partington, Greater Manchester, following the row.
Mr Deeney, a 31-year-old chef, said: 'I'm absolutely livid. They've made Alyssa feel like she's done something wrong and she hasn't.
