Ferguson popular civil rights activist Darren Seals was found shot dead in a burning car in St. Louis.



It has been reported that popular civil rights activist Darren Seals was found dead today in St. Louis.


According to authorities, Seals, who gained his notoriety during the Ferguson protests on behalf of Michael Brown’s death, was found shot dead in a burning car.

Complex received a statement from the St. Louis County Police where it says Riverview police were called to the scene around 1:50 a.m. when they received calls about a burning car only to see Seals in it with a gunshot wound. Where he was shot has yet to be released.

As of now, the 29 year old’s death is being ruled a homicide, although no suspects have been apprehended in connection.
