Taylor Swift help fulfill a fan's wish by phoning the teen who has undergone five open-heart surgeries and having a half hour chat

Taylor Swift made someone else's most cherished dream come true with just a phone call. Meghan Hils, 18, of Cincinnati, Ohio, has pulmonary atresia, a congenital heart defect. Meghan has received dozens of procedures, most of them in California - including five open-heart surgeries.

In the last few weeks, Meghan's health has deteriorated. She has needed more oxygen than usual and it has become hard for her to leave the house.

So her father Dan, a sergeant at the Cincinnati Police Department, wrote an emotional appeal Monday to grant Meghan one of her longtime wishes: talking to Taylor Swift. Photos
