Kim Kardashian looks sad during premiere of The Promise

According to Page Six, the 36-year-old wanted to show her support for the important film but was taken ill with flu so she popped straight home after the red carpet which was held in Hollywood on Thursday night.

A source told the site: 'Kim did not stay. She was supposed to, but at the last minute ended up leaving.' Photos  below
