Photos: Angelina Jolie acquires $25million 6 bedroom and 10 bathrooms mansion built in 1913

The house was built in the Los Feliz in 1913 and the famed director lived there until his death in 1959.

She split from partner of 12 years and husband of two years Brad Pitt in an unexpected turn of events last September.

But it appears Angelina Jolie, who shares six children with the actor, is well on her way to a fresh start after it was reported she is shelling out almost $25 million on a historic LA mansion.

The actress, 41, is said to be laying down permanent roots in California, and will settle her children into the historic Cecil B. DeMille Estate - considered one of the city's best. Photos  below
