N'Golo Kante recently had to deny that he covers the 30 per cent of the Earth not subsumed by water. He must have done his own maths after watching Idrissa Gueye's performances at Goodison Park.

Kante has been a sensation since he arrived in the Premier League, playing a key role as Leicester became the most unexpected champions in a generation and now helping Chelsea blitz the rest of the division.

But it's easy to forget that there is another player in the top flight who is doing the same job almost as well as the France international.
