100 plus NFL players knee or seats during America national anthem

President Donald Trump's criticism of players who protest during the national anthem has incited mass activism, with more than 100 NFL players sitting or kneeling during 'The Star-Spangled Banner' overnight.

One team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, chose to stay in their locker room during the entire anthem.

The number of players protesting has jumped enormously from last week, which only saw four players kneel or sit across the entire NFL, while another two stood with their fists raised. In the nine early games Sunday, local time, AP reporters counted 102 players kneeling or sitting, and at least three raising their fists.
