Discover, a mobile banking app, briefly updated its 'Deals' website ahead of today's event, and suggested a seventh generation iPod Touch may also be launched.
The site has since removed the mention of Apple's new devices from its website.
9to5Mac noticed last night that Discover had updated its 'Deals' website to reflect the release of a range of new products.
The Deals page offers users five per cent cashback when buying a range of products, but under a section titled 'Exceptions', Discover wrote: 'iPhone 8, iPhone 8+, iPhone X Edition, Apple Watch Series 3, Apple TV (2017), iPod Touch (7th Generation).'

The Verge points out that the seventh generation iPod is listed alongside the '1 to 1 Membership' – a programme that Apple discontinued in 2015.
Apple last released its sixth generation iPod in 2015, and stopped reporting iPod sales that year.
