Kim Kardashian, 36, 'was stunned and 'TEARED UP' when she learned sister Kylie Jenner, 20, was expecting a baby

Family members are usually thrilled when someone in the clan becomes pregnant as babies are a reminder of the circle of life.

But when Kim Kardashian found out her younger sister Kylie Jenner was expecting a baby with rapper Travis Scott, she 'didn't respond well at first,' according to a Tuesday report from People.

'Her first reaction was, "Seriously?"' a source told the site. Kim has two children with Kanye West and is reportedly expecting a third, a daughter, via surrogate in January.

Also on Tuesday TMZ reported Kylie got pregnant after two months of dating the Goosebumps singer. 

As far as Kim's reaction to Kylie's baby news, the family friend told People: 'She didn’t respond well at first. It’s like she and Kanye had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie.

'She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.'

Both Kim and Kanye were 'stunned by the news.'

The source added: 'It came out of nowhere. It was the last thing on their radar.

'Kylie is just 20 and hasn’t been with Scott for very long. So no one saw this coming.'

But Kim will be there for her youngest sibling.

'Of course Kim is happy for Kylie,' the source continued.

She’s going to support Kylie 100 percent, no matter what. There’s never been any question about that.

'But it’s just a weird dynamic, after all that Kim did to intentionally have another child. It has taken a lot of time, energy and money for her to get pregnant, and now Kylie is having a baby around the same time.'

But the patter of little feet will be sweet.
