Lionel Richie revealed his 'in shock' that daughter Sofia, 19, is dating 'sex addict' father-of-three Scott Disick, 34

Lionel Richie has admitted he is 'scared to death' that his teenage daughter Sofia, 19, is dating ladies' man Scott Disick, 34.

The legendary musician, 68, said he was 'in shock' over his youngest child's choice of 'sex addict' boyfriend.

Speaking while promoting the new series ofAmerican Idol on Wednesday, Lionel told US Weekly: 'I'm scared to death, are you kidding me? Have I been in shock?! I'm the dad, come on.' See photos 

Sofia and Scott went public with their romance in late September after first being linked back in May, when they insisted they were just 'homies.
