Fashion-designer Rachel Roy is speaking out to deny rumors that she had an affair with Jay-Z.
Roy fueled the rumors herself after she seemed to identify herself as the other woman Beyoncé sings about on her new album Lemonade, which is believed to contain references to her rapper husband's alleged infidelity.
The track called 'Sorry' includes a reference to a mistress she calls 'Becky with the good hair'.
Beyoncé fans deduced that 'Becky' was Roy when she posted an picture to Instagram just hours after the album's release, writing: 'Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens.'
But in a statement to People on Tuesday, Roy says that her comments were misinterpreted. See below
