Kim Kardashian revealed in a June interview with GQ that an attorney for Taylor Swift had demanded Kanye West destroy the taped phone conversation he had with the singer about his song Famous.
And on Monday, one day after Kim, 35, leaked the secret recording in a series of Snapchat videos, TMZ reported that Taylor's team had indeed threatened the rapper, 39, with legal action.
The website obtained a copy of the letter sent in February in which the singer's lawyer pointed out that under California law, anyone who secretly records a telephone conversation with someone in the state is committing a criminal offense and a felony.
