Arsene Wenger's critics might think twice before chastising the Arsenal manager after he wielded a Viking sword ahead of Arsenal's friendly in Norway.
His team face Viking FK in a pre-season friendly and as the managers exchanged gifts before kick-off, a bemused Wenger took the sword and lifted it to the crowd.
His counterpart Kjell Jonevret was handed a silver plate in return which, as pre-season presents go, cannot really compete with a medieval weapon. See phot of managers exchanging gift below
