Adam Peaty showed he is the man with the Midas touch as the Olympic 100m breaststroke champion posed with his 24k gold-plated iPhone.

His new gadget is bedecked with black crocodile leather and Peaty held it up alongside his treasured gold medal from Rio.

Peaty had his iPhone customised by a company called Golden Luxury HQ who specialise in luxury gold plated items and specialist gifts.  More photos below.
