Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini and Ecuadorian star Antonio Valencia to extend Manchester United stay

Few days ago, the Red Devils officially agreed a one year extension with Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini and now they have done the same with veteran Ecuadorian star Antonio Valencia.

Back in November 2016, Mirror reported that United want to sign a one year extension with the former Wigan attacker who earns £80,000-a-week ($100,000-a-week).

Yesterday, the Old Trafford club triggered the clause in Valencia’s contract to extend his deal and the 31-year-old defender is happy to stay with the club (MUFC).

Valencia has been a key member of the squad under the management of Jose Mourinho. This season, he has featured in 23 games for the Red Devils and provided 4 assists.

The South American star joined United to replace superstar Cristiano Ronaldo when Alex Ferguson was in charge of the club. However, in the past few seasons, he has mainly played as a right wing-back.

Valencia has won all the major titles in England with Manchester United and deserved an extension.
