Chelsea Gary Cahill expresss his joy playing with Messi and Ronald on the same pitch

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has stated that playing against superstar duo Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is a special experience.

During his time at Chelsea, Cahill has come up against some of the very best players in the world and the defender has now gone on to reveal his two toughest opponents.

Speaking to Chelsea's official website, Cahill stated that Barcelona's Messi and Real Madrid's Ronaldo are the two best players in the world right now and added that sharing the pitch with the superstar duo is 'special'.

Cahill said: "It's very difficult to say, there are so many.

"I played against Lionel Messi in the Champions League and I've played against Cristiano Ronaldo in some pre-season friendlies, and just to be on the same pitch as those two is something special in itself because I think they are the best players on the planet right now."
