Manchester United send their condolences to fans,friends and family of Calabar electrocuted victims

Manchester United have sent their sympathies after Nigerian football fans were electrocuted while watching Manchester United play on Thursday night.

Nigerian police say the fans were killed while watching the Europa League game between United and Anderlecht in the city of Calabar.

United sent their condolences, tweeting: 'Our thoughts go out to the United fans, their friends and families affected by the tragedy in Calabar, Nigeria, yesterday. Photos  below.
