Steven Gerrard and wife welcome their first son after three girls

Steven Gerrard and his wife Alex have welcomed their fourth child.

The footballer, 36, took to Instagram to confirm the pair had welcomed their first little boy called Lio George on Saturday morning, thought to be named after sports star Lionel Messi.

The Liverpool star gushed to his 5.9 million followers about his wife, 34, and their newborn: 'Both are doing great . Our family is complete.'Another photo  below
