Jay-Z opened up on his simmering tension with Kanye West, stressing that West's public references to his wife Beyonce and their children spurred an unprecedented chill between them.
'You can't bring my kids and my wife into it,' the rapper, 47, said in a chat with Rap Radar's Elliott Wilson and Brian 'B.Dot' Miller released on Friday.
The rapper opened up about the topic of of his tense relationship with Kanye, 40, in a short minute-long clip released on TMZ the same day.
'We've gotten past bigger issues but you brought my family into it - that's a problem with me, that's a real, real problem.
'We've never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we've had many, it's part of who we are, that's what I liked about him, he's this honest person, he'll say things - and he's wrong a lot of times - and we'll confront it.
