A British woman who was arrested for having sex outside marriage in Dubai after claiming she was gang-raped is being comforted by a former Apprentice star.
The 25-year-old went to police to report the alleged attack but found herself being thrown in jail for having sex outside of marriage.
Fellow Britons Dave Butlin, 22, and Louis Harris, 24, were arrested over the attack in the United Arab Emirates but have been bailed.
And now it has emerged that the woman who says she was the victim of the alleged rape, is being supported by former Apprentice contestant Selina Waterman Smith, who lives in Dubai.
The 32-year-old who competed on the BBC show last year, set up a support organisation for abused women in the country after she was raped in 2012.
And speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I am doing everything I can to get justice. I was sexually assaulted four years ago.
'I am aware of her case and happy to be providing assistance in any way I can.'
Last year, Ms Waterman Smith waived her anonymity to reveal how she was raped when her attackers tampered with her drink at the Rock Bottom Bar in the Regent Palace Hotel.
