Anthony Martial went shopping on Wednesday afternoon as Manchester United travelled to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Frenchman was not present as the Red Devils beat the Eagles 2-1 at Selhurst Park and instead spent the afternoon in the Trafford Centre with his girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz.
Martial has endured a testing campaign but, having signed in a deal which could rise to £58m in 2015, fans will wonder why the forward was not in Jose Mourinho's squad.The 21-year-old gave a peace sign as he walked holding a bag from Selfridges with his reality TV star girlfriend in tow.
Wearing a black cap and grey tracksuit, Martial will be hoping he is back in the side soon after starting in the win over Tottenham on Sunday.
The young attacker was dropped earlier this season for the Red Devils' Europa League win over Feyenoord in November.
